In light of the September 28 Campaign, H.E.R.A, The Association for Health Education and Research is organizing a national conference – “Legal restrictions – safe and legal abortion”. The event will be an excellent occasion to gather all relevant stakeholders to discuss about the new Abortion Law and how the changes that the Law introduced are likely to create discriminatory legal obstacles to women’s access to legal abortion rather to decrease number of abortions or improve quality of abortion care services. Among speakers are Bojan Jovanovski from HERA and Marta Szostak, ASTRA Network.

Additionally, in the evening a Slam Poetry event will take place, organized in collaboration with Poetry Slam Macedonia. Young Macedonian poets will perform for the audience their poems on topics related to women`s rights and gender issues.
