The new ASTRA publication Status of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights in Centraland Eastern Europe is a tool for all advocates, NGO workers, policy makers and those interested in the CEE region and the SRHR status of women and young people. This factsheet is also a great resource about the Network itself, its mission and members.
The factsheet concentrates around four main issues which remain a challenge in the region: access to safe and legal abortion, contraception, comprehensive sexuality education and violence against women. It provides several recommendations for the governments and all stakeholders within the current ongoing UN processes such as the ICPD+20 and post-2015 process.
