For the past ten days, between the 30^th of June and the 9^th of July, ASTRA Network had the opportunity to actively participate in the works of the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) at UN headquarters in New York. ASTRA representative from Romania was by International Women’s Health Coalition and cooperated with a wider group of activists through the Women’s Major Group. This represents a continuation of ASTRA’s involvement in the review process of the MDG framework as well as our network’s sustained contribution to the drafting of SDGs (through ASTRA representatives in the Open Working Group sessions) where we advocate for regional priorities in the field of SRHR and gender equality.
