ASTRA delegation will attend the 58th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women which will take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 10 to 21 March 2014. Two representatives from Georgia, one from Armenia and one from Poland will join other SRHR activists from the world in this two week session and aim to ensure a SRHR sensitive and inclusive, forward looking and human rights oriented outcome of the 58th CSW.
This year’s priority theme links to the Post-2015 process as the session aims to review the Challenges and achievements in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals for women and girls. ASTRA will deliver an oral statement on the priority theme – it is available online here.
