In May 2012, the Population Council, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition hosted a meeting of international experts to discuss ways to increase access to highly effective, long-acting, reversible contraception (LARCs) and accelerate progress toward meeting the Millennium Development Goal of universal access to reproductive health services.
